    There are no signatures on the ballots themselves. You sign the outer envelope, not the ballot. Anyone who has voted by mail should know this. 🧐

    Great reading list.

    I think if this country - and this includes media - would just read a few books on the 2000 election and be able to talk about it with authority we'd all be much better off right now.

    We worked on this with the NYTimes on this piece. They did the animations with a lot of respect for the complexity and details of elections.

    I think much of this advice about ballot redesign principles is what advocates.
