I've been wanting to do this for quite a while, and today I finally hit the tipping point for various reasons. On social media in general: Personal- it easily wrecks your life. Socially- it's wrecking the world. I'm done.
Isn't it possible just to uninstall the app and stop using it? Or do You mean straight up deleting it all?

Cold turkey seems more and more like the way to go. Trying to moderate social media is like trying to moderate heroin.

Just offering another view(no arguing intended): there's no evil beside the one living inside. SM has found and exploits some inherent evolutional bugs of human behaviour. We need to find a way how to deal with them, bc we can run, but we can't hide.Just need a break sometimes ;)
How about just use it less? Set a time to check it every other day, simple.
