Cool. I thought this was mostly just going to be the equivalent of Auto Fix settings in other apps, but it looks much better to my eye than the Auto in Lightroom(left) or Photoshop(right). I was interested that Photoshop's Auto Tone affects White Balance, whereas Lightroom's doesn't. Auto white balance is wildly wrong on lots of photos but looks ok here. I don't think I see an obvious example where this model changed the colors that looks like white balance shift.
Do you think the model would do that type of correction in some cases? Algorithmically I assume it's impossible to tell the difference between restoring a painting of a face at sunset or restoring a painting with a weird red tint. But maybe old photos normally have weird tints?
