There's a lot to unpack here. Most people I have met over my life "work for a living", they don't have any desire to "change the world" and if they didn't have to work, they wouldn't. Except for all those entrepreneurs, teachers, doctors, and anyone who "finds their calling".

This has promoted a belief amongst the chattering classes that if you're not happy going to work then you're not very good at your job, but you would be somewhere else, so why don't you go there? It's silly, of course, but it persists. Now, smile.
