Yeah, that's exactly how I see it. I read up a whole bunch when I was younger on the rise of the Third Reich because I wanted to know how exactly that sort of thing could happen. We're seeing those same elements now. It's frightening.
I completely agree. I've read a lot about the history too, but never quite grasped how it worked until seeing the past few years unfold. Our understanding of reality comes from those around us—so when enough of the folks we know and trust are insane, we become insane, too.
Exactly. That's why I think it's important to be vocal about it. Silence normalizes it. I know I'm alienating a lot of followers (the count keeps going down each time lol) but I'm going to keep doing it.
