I do wear a mask. I trust that the greater the chance of transmission, the more frequently folks will wear one.
I don't. At all. This whole idea that the free market of ideas is going to ultimately lead to people doing the right thing is already being disproven in real time. They all should have been wearing masks already. They're going to double down on the stupid.
It's problematic with this virus given the long incubation times. I would attribute the disastrous NYC response due to the lack of realization that it was spreading more pervasively than originally thought.
And they already had Italy and Wuhan as examples to know better by that time.
I'd say the political intervention is pretty strong on this one.
