Thats how value works under capitalism. The moment productivity of labor tends towards infinite, the act of labor loses all its value. Unless you can establish some type of monopoly (e.g. legal) over it and charge a rent for that product, then it has no value.

Which is why capitalism becomes a fetter on the development of the productive forces that it itself creates. It poses a barrier to its own development signaling that its historic time has come to an end and that it must make way for a higher mode of social production

I'm not a hyper capitalist even though it might sound like it with my emphasis on pay here. I'm saying within the system as is, that's what we need to make sure people are compensated properly and support each other.
