1/ I've been reading @fastdotai 's new book coming out later this summer. It's awesome- the rare kind of technical book that is so enjoyable, digestible, and deceptively easy that you think "they must be dumbing it down!" They're not at all- that's effective teaching at work.
2/ In other words they really did a great job of putting in book form what they've been doing in their classes for years. It's the product of very careful presentation design, iterated through much like any good software. I've taken multiple versions of the course- I know!
3/ Even better, the book is not only in paper back form (which I'm personally a big fan of), but they have it right here in as a set of executable notebooks and interactive Jupyter notebooks:https://github.com/fastai/fastbook
