It's really impressive. Still, there seems to be some bias towards blue/purple colors, which are not so frequent. Or is it just my impression?
Significantly less so as the model gets bigger (such as this model). But it still happens, yes. That's basically it- as I suspected, the purple problem is about throwing more model at it, it appears. Purple is the default the model comes up with when all else fails.

So the top stone is purple because the model is not sure whether it's maybe a large handbag (and the ivy some decoration)?
