I'm just saying the challenges aren't comparable. I'm not excusing it. I just don't think people criticizing the US response do the cause any good by saying "why couldn't we do it like New Zealand!?!" when it's an clearly apples and oranges comparison.

I'm just mostly amused how everybody is going around saying "look at New Zealand" whereas China is much more impressive in every aspect (including in how they didn't have a 2 month advance warning) I agree that comparisons are generally difficult and NZ!=US by any stretch of img
