1/ As a software developer, it's easy to get fixated on things like clever ideas, code elegance, or the latest in tech, etc. But most failures I've seen in getting the job done revolve around poor time management, lack of communication, and not saying 'No'.

I'm definitely guilty of being rude on the DeOldify repo from time to time. I do it deliberately when people make entitled demands and the like. Really it's just because I think you have to assertively draw a line on what you're willing to accept. Otherwise you do get walked on
