Well put. No, not every opinion or perspective is worth entertaining or giving air time. Stupidity and insanity simply need to be resisted. Or else it takes a life of its own. Let's be honest- the stupidity and insanity is getting really out of hand these days.https://twitter.com/thedailybeast/status/1260177965721231360 …
I'm simply talking about all of us exercising our "freedom" to try to help put an end to the madness. Rather than sitting back and watching it happen. Honestly I think "freedom" is a bit abused and overused much like the 2nd Amendment. There's nuance (example, no murder).

I get the sentiment. I just don’t buy it. But there’s a reason: I was actively suppressed on HN for my words, and it took two years to get back into good standing. You know me, a bit. Do I seem like someone worth excluding? Until it happens to you, it’s hard to understand.

Freedom is often abused. But it comes with the territory. I think people should be allowed to make foolish decisions, as long as those decisions don’t physically or financially harm anyone.
