Let's be really careful not to sugar coat or distract from what is being talked about here. We're too quick to normalize this shit from the president. It is simply not acceptable for the *president to call for an armed rebellion in blue states.
Well ok, that's a detail I didn't catch. You got me. But that doesn't detract from the main point that his words have a lot of influence and he's being totally reckless. If the most charitable way to characterize what he does is "trolling"...yikes. That's our president?

Ugh, this is what I'm afraid of. I'm not trying to "get" you. I just think that people tend to read into his words (or read stories where a journo reads into his words) and then run with the interpretation rather than the reality, and doing this isn't beneficial for anyone.

And I agree. I'd much prefer the president to be a statesman.
