Privilege is a two-way street here. People like me have been able to be patient about sheltering in place because I work from home and have kept my income. If I was laid off I’d be far more likely to want things to return to normal fast, despite the risk.

Let's be really careful not to sugar coat or distract from what is being talked about here. We're too quick to normalize this shit from the president. It is simply not acceptable for the *president to call for an armed rebellion in blue states.

It stinks that the leader of the free world talks like this. It's trolling. He likes saying inflammatory stuff to draw attention to himself. Makes me just want to ignore it (on Twitter anyways); if I give him attention, doesn't he get what he wants? How do you deal with a troll?

But his words actually drive stupid action. That's the problem. We can't pretend it's just "trolling" when people are actually doing things like taking hydroxychloroquine on their own and dying because they believe their dear leader's every word.
