Unfortunately I recently had to (implicitly) tell someone the same thing, by just not responding to them. Maybe I'll be more explicit. It breaks my heart, though. I want to help everyone. I've just barely been getting sleep, since there's so much to do.

Yeah not sure what the best approach is yet. I'm taking the Linus Torvalds explicit asshole approach to get the points across. I feel like otherwise the message isn't clear. Don't feel bad about it! You can't do it all and that's really the point.

I'll keep it in mind, but it seems like there's no reason not to be nice. But you have an order of magnitude more followers, so you probably deal with a lot more noise.

I'm not sure what the right approach is honestly. I try to make sure it's known I don't tolerate bullshit. I've become more and more convinced that this is necessary these days.

Well, speaking of the no-BS, I've been keeping an eye out of that email and nothing's come yet. It's possible I missed it, I suppose, but I wanted to mention I was watching.

I was about to ask. I didn't hear back either actually. I know they've been busy now with the Covid-19 stuff....
