I'm very, very tempted—but these days I don't even have a gaming PC, let alone VR gear. That said, I'm very excited about VR and was in love with Google Cardboard/Daydream. Do you think there's enough solid VR content to make it a worthwhile purchase?

Definitely think it has been worth the purchase for years (since 2016). VR games, especially social ones like Rec Room, have a unique level of replay value. Think of the utility like having a swimming pool that you keep coming back to again and again.

Looks to be one handed, does this mean it works for the Oculus Go?

One handed is an option for accessibility. Oculus Go won't be usable with it but Oculus Quest with link to pc- yes.
