I think ironically he might be right, but for a wrong reason - they are going to tank the economy, make people die, lose jobs etc. - but to save interest of the top 0.01% - shareholders - that are both not productive, as well as insanely expensive to maintain.

I get the argument much like I get what eugenics proponents think they're achieving. I'm not even saying the argument is wrong from a technical sense. It's just way past that line of absurdity for me in terms of how far you're willing to go to ignore your conscience.

It’s weird that a lot of the replies are claiming the virus will “kill children.” I thought it was established that kids <10 were almost impervious, and <20 has very little risk.
