This is just an aesthetic choice. Perhaps it would look a little goofy if you left the statement curried out, but I think that Henning's solution looks fine without extra context. A niche issue I take with the example is that it makes it look like an algorithm.

Part of my area of study is around computable mathematics. When you want to show something is computable you write out some pseudocode for your program. The above however is not a computable map and I'd definitely avoid anything which might communicate that.
