      As a professional colouriser, I've been reticent about commenting on the process, but I had a play with DeOldify on My Heritage at the weekend & it made me laugh. Not in a sneery or condescending way, but through the sheer fun of it. I was really impressed by the instant results.

      Thanks! I am curious...what do you think of using it as a first pass for getting the "basics" like skin and vegetation, etc, out of the way, and then focusing on the fine details that require research and extra care? This seems controversial among manual colorizers...

      Some might, but I'm the wrong chap to ask, as my photo and video work is more stylised and tends to concentrate on coloured light sources rather than being too naturalisticpic.twitter.com/JI9260pCfC
