For example, we parsed the image of a person wearing extensive jewelry, deoldify made the jewelry white. I could have 'told' the model that the picture is of a 'man wearing gold jewelry'.. Maybe the model would have approached 'ground truth' better?
I'd characterize what your proposing as perfectly sensible in terms of "of course our models should do that!", but much easier to say than to actually make happen. You're talking about marrying semantic understanding with visual pattern recognition, -seamlessly-.

So yeah I think that's where things are going in Deep Learning, but I can't think of a way to do that quite yet.

Actually.. I'm suggesting have different training sets for different contexts.. I'm not a technical deep learning person so can't frame it better.. Maybe we'll give it a shot and see what comes of it..
