As you were speaking of GANs in there, I had a thought that they are kind of like giving a NN anxiety - good for some things but paralyzing if you let it run the whole show. Would you agree?
Yes. I feel like if you're trying to engineer something reliable that's definitely the case.

Seems like “someone could die” is only so helpful in both real life and artificial when you want to move forward. Risk management is the human means of taking that on, to make it a consideration but not to keep from progress. Very interesting add to my mental model. Thank you!
