This stunningly detailed photograph was taken on Saturday 11th September 1869 and shows the construction of the Holborn Viaduct. So much magic to zoom into and see in this picture. I particularly love the advertisements.

For try to colorize and read more about the procedure. Beeing a media scientist I have always been sceptical about colorizing, but I want to read more about today's programmes etc
