The fact that @citnaj has different DeOldify models for photos vs videos is yet more evidence that photos != videos.
So why do we still judge games by screenshots? It’s a deception. And even the deceivers don’t realize they’re deceiving anyone, because they’re being fooled too!

I think DeOldify might be at least a partial exception to that, in that I think the Video Model is strictly frame-by-frame and is stable enough to work. But I agree with the overall point wholeheartedly!
Yeah even considering that DeOldify video is frame to frame, it still produces a cumulative effect that currently has to emphasize stability over (unfortunately!) more colors. So I do think Shawn's excellent point stands.
