I decided to check out Reddit's r/TheWayWeWere and run a few pictures through my latest unreleased experimental DeOldify model. Using the latest version of the amazing DeOldify should enhance your work.
The quality of these are amazing. They almost look like film stills off a studio set. Have you tried using a still off a film clip & colourising it? That way you're creating a 'new' photo of something unposed?!
Thanks! I've happened across a few stills and have tried colorizing- yeah I think you're on to something. You get something pretty new and unique out of that.
