I appreciate all this. I'll let this turn in my head. I can't totally see it from this perspective right now, honestly. My chief concern is what appears to be a bit of a "circular firing squad" among people that otherwise largely agree on a good overlap of right causes.
That's really it- it seems really counterproductive when we really need to work together on things, I think.
Honestly I don't really want to get into the thick of the debate, but minorities have been fighting this fight for literally hundreds of years, and there's stuff that works and stuff that doesn't, and historically speaking the things that put us in danger are pretty clear 
And I don't want to be the one to "educate" you or others because if you end up caring a lot for these issues you'll look it up, and "minorities trying to educate the majority one by one" is another thing that doesn't work
