Ah I see. Then I guess my situation is different, I do stuff I like! Like coding.
Jokes aside, for the last 6 months I've spent at least 3 hours/day doing stuff that's not directly work related and I feel like my work life balance has improved. -
I'm aware that most people can't find 3 hours off work to basically do different kinds of work tho.

Thanks. Yeah really I’m thinking over the last 20 or so years of life being optimized for being an good coder. The past year, though tough, has been the most rewarding for sure. It’s not all bad. It’s just I caution others in the field from being extreme about it.
