I thought the strongest point he made is that people do not have a right to "reach". I still think that governments should be the ones setting policies about speech though, it's too much power to rest with private corporations.
This is so important and I applaud Sacha for this. People who are focusing on “but censorship is bad!” angle seem to be missing the point entirely that these social media companies already are selectively filtering and promoting speech. What's appalling is that instead of listening to domain experts, tech bloggers and heck! one in 25 ppl, software engineers, who have been screaming the same thing for years now... The news is only "news" if Borat says it.

Well to be fair, sometimes it really is the -way- that you deliver a message that counts. If it takes somebody like Borat to do that then do be it. I know I couldn’t do it effectively like that.
