Very much agreed, but I do wonder if the “extreme” qualifier is accurate. It’s not popular to point this out in the US but if your measure of success is profit, it’s not a great proxy for success in justice, equality, curbing violence, etc.

Exactly. My reference to “extreme” means profit maximizing at all costs, including lobbying and changing laws to pave the way for more profits at the cost of everything else.

This relentless value extraction system that creates network effects with fewer and same people able to participate at higher levels of capitalism is extreme capitalism.
