I've finally found that but for me there's been a flip side to it- I can't stop. I told a friend the other week, "It turns out fulfilling work can be quite unfulfilling!" I just got over burnout and it suuuuuucks. Take care of yourself Jason! It's a marathon, not a sprint - the work will still be there if you take a week off... you'll also probably be more productive (you don't realize how much burnout takes its toll until after you get some rest)
Funny thing is I know all this and I'd be telling somebody else the exact same thing as you! It's the whole actually doing the right thing that's hard. Regardless, thanks man. I'm putting this out there to remind others that they're not alone in experiencing this.

I’ve gone through cycles of this now, both in “work life” and fulfilling pursuits.. it certainly hasn’t been easy to identify and course correct in time... I’ve started looking for early signs now... but that requires moments of pause and reflect built into the pursuit itself!
