Man, I knew this going into it to a certain extent, but there's a big difference between making a cool tech demo (DeOldify v1) to an actually useful tool (what I'm just wrapping up now). Quantified: 6 weeks vs well over a year! And a lot more self-doubt/torture in the latter.

Congrats! How much time did you think v2 was going to take initially?
Well I'd call this v3 because v2 would have been the video/NoGAN one in May. But I remember telling my partner Dana "pessimistically, end of summer" basically. So yeah as is usually the case, software estimates are hard.
