I hope that what happened to you and now this are just isolated incidents and not part of a broader trend where people are acting cutthroat because the potential rewards are so high
Well, sociopathy certainly isn’t new. But there’s certainly a lot of new ways to get creative with exploiting people these days. I think we all just have to be good about looking out for it and calling it out when we see it.
