This is unacceptable - I'd like to know what @jeremyphoward thinks. Personally, I think it's highly unjust to the authors working on this research. I've also heard @citnaj had a similar experience with his own work and would like to hear his thoughts on this matter as well.
I just got through reading all this. (1) Siraj is a clown. I have no doubt about that now. (2) I think the best way to deal with this sort of thing is naming and shaming, exactly as what's being done here. People who do this sort of thing won't care otherwise.

Naming and shaming isn’t enough. Many new students won’t see this thread and will still fall for the scam. He needs to be fined, forced to refund previous students, and removed from educational platforms. This is where regulations are really useful....

And unsub. Just check his live QnA(11th Oct) where he was very cavalier about it. Copying code is ok ( With due credit) but selling yourself as an "Expert" when you are not is scam
