      I keep seeing lots of love for C#. I was actually surprised about that. Also surprised by how much people don't like Java.

      C# is an extremely logically thought out language and framework. And .NET Core now truly runs on all platforms, Linux, Mac and Windows. It's a really remarkably well done system. (Disclosure, former MSFT employee.)

          Well my first tool during my masters was coded with C# . I only know how I did it 🤣😬🤦🏽‍♂️. But it was fun.

          I did extensive training for 2 months in Java but never could enjoy or feel at home with it as much as I enjoyed C/Perl/SQL/bash.
