I keep seeing lots of love for C#. I was actually surprised about that. Also surprised by how much people don't like Java.

Btw to expand upon Perl: I really think it's by far the craziest language I've ever come across. Unnecessarily difficult. Evil. I can never get the dereferencing right. And I've dealt with it quite a bit.

Which language should an ML person start learning after sufficiently learning Python?

My big disclaimer here is that my area of expertise is very narrowly in the realm of DeOldify and what it takes to get that running. That being said, my personal bias is that using ML stuff in a useful language that actually runs well on production (not Python) is what you want.
