I actually pretty much find resumes useless. At best they don’t tell you much and at worst they can be just straight up lies. Degree and job pedigree are weak signals for success. Those are good points. I still think that resumes may help to assess some of those things. Past experience should count. It may be frustrating for experienced practioners having to prove themselves from scratch every time the look for a new job.
