I tried auto-colorizing a clip from Nepali movie Maitighar (1966) using #DeOldify. Although the coloring is somewhat inconsistent even for similar frames, I think this is still pretty amazing given the quality of the video.pic.twitter.com/LCMtuVHCAA

Did you set artistic=False? If not, that provides a much more stable model which might do a better job!

I have used that parameter only when playing with images. How do I do that for video?

Ok I just checked the most likely colab and it downloads the correct model. If there is no option, it is probably correct.

That's correct- there's only one video model.

Do you have any suggestions I can try to improve this video?

The general rule of thumb is that if you’re having trouble with flashing colors, you should probably increase render_factor. The tradeoff: the higher you go wit render_factor, the less colorful renders become. This can partially be fixed with saturation adjustment separately.

Yeah, I went with lower render_factor because the color was more appealing with lower values. I will try what you suggested.
