I want to use #DeOldify but have absolutely no coding or programming knowledge, and I tried to read on how to do it and my eyes crossed.

Hello, DeOldify guy here! I’d recommend http://colorize.ml for images- it uses a good implementation of DeOldify with a simple interface.

this is interesting. Jason, do you know what parts of the image the model is attending to when predicting the color of the man with a cap (not the one with a turban)? I find the shading on the person very good.

I don’t, but that sounds like a good thing to visualize to debug this stuff. It could very well depend heavily on context of clothing etc
