Is there a reason why the color purple (different hues) appears to dominate clothing in several ‘deoldified’ images and videos? or is it just my eyes

It's not just your eyes. It's happening, and it's something I'm looking to correct. I think it boils down to "I don't know so I'll just choose a safe default" for the model. Clothing in particular has this sort of ambiguity.
