Btw, I have to ask: have you seen Jackson's "They shall not grow old"? How do you rate the delta in overall (image)quality compared to Deoldify?
Oh man well I’d say there’s still a ways to go there for sure. First, the colorization itself still has big room for improvement in terms of both historical accuracy and diversity. Second, restoration itself technically isn’t happening here.

Of course, but to the untrained eye DoOldify is already close to "restoration"...;) having said that, let's not forget the fabric fantastic job Jackson did in "reinventing" the missing audio and dialogue
