I use mindfulness as a daily habit for clarity in thought and general wellbeing. I see meditation as peeling an onion. Allowing the space and focus to witness deeper yearnings and sensations.
On another note, I'd highly recommend a 10-day silent retreat. It made me experience the difference between meditation and mindfulness.
