1. DeOldify Update: Believe it or not, despite lack of visible progress, there's a lot of changes going on behind the scenes in DeOldify. I'm excited! BUT... Tomorrow is the start of a much needed vacation. So..nothing's getting committed until that's over (January).
2. If I'm unresponsive about issues or other stuff in the meantime, that's why. But anyway- the main goal here is to get a noticeably better model up, and to get on FastAI/Pytorch 1.0. I already have the latter up and running locally and it's great- much less code on my part.
3. I'll talk more about what exactly went all into this- I got some really awesome help this time! But...January :)
Just gave it a spin on colab for a bunch of images; worked mostly great but also ran into some known issues (blue bias, zombie limbs). Imho containerisation would be nice, not least to get around the pesky cuda setup on OS X. Very excited about what’s coming next!
That’s awesome to hear. Containerization is on the agenda, but a bit lower priority since the Colab notebook exists.
