New on DeOldify- a @GoogleColab notebook! Now you can get started colorizing your own photos without the headaches of setup! It just runs in your browser. Brilliant. https://colab.research.google.com/github/mc-robinson/DeOldify/blob/master/DeOldify_colab.ipynb … . Huge thanks to @cutearguments

I am complete new with Notebooks...
do you have some hints for colorizing my own Images with this notebook? Thank you very much1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
Sure- so probably the easiest option would be that if you have your images hosted online (Dropbox, for example), you could use lines like this to get the photos: !wget "https://path/to/example.jpg" -O "example.jpg"

Apparently there's also a Colab uploads module as well, discussed here as one of the options: https://medium.freecodecamp.org/how-to-transfer-large-files-to-google-colab-and-remote-jupyter-notebooks-26ca252892fa …

I haven't tried it yet but what that gives you is a GUI to upload files. I might just throw that in there soon because that would be -really- convenient. I'll jot this down in my notes, and in the meantime if you try it and it works- please let us know!
