      So http://www.image-net.org/api/text/imagenet.synset.geturls?wnid=n01440764 … is just a list of urls for different images. Very possible that wget gets held up at one of the urls, might be worth pausing and editing the list to skip tough images. Not sure what you mean by the "server" though?

      Alright, yeap. Just checked out the list http://www.image-net.org/api/text/imagenet.synset.geturls?wnid=n01440764 … It's a bit weird. Most of images contains fish.

      LOL Yeah that was just a hack to work with the http://Fast.AI  library so I could get it up and running yet not wait for all the images to load (so I took a subset). Again...didn't think this would get this much attention so soon. Sorry!

      Hmm. In the list there 1128 image links. But only 440 of them are a live. I wrote script which requested every single link.       Aight I just got rid of this dependency in the code. Wasn't too hard. Sorry about the pain! @cutearguments - Think you can update your Colab for this? If we get this in place then I really do think we should make this part of the project!
