I got blocked by a feminist-ish SJ-questioning account I like with a few thousand followers, I think over a misunderstanding. Now I'm unblocked. Do I say "hey, thanks for unblocking me, I like being able to read what you write" or do I just stay quiet?

I think you blocked me once for being a fat-shamer because I was deeply concerned about the health of the folks in the Southern state that I grew up in.

Don't think that can have been me. I don't believe medical facts are obliged to line up with what would suit my politics. I basically only block for rudeness or being like full-on self-identified groyper or something, and I can't think of a time I've unblocked anyone :)

If you'd like to reflect on how your outlook changed in 2008, or if you already wrote about it, I'd be interested.

The short answer is, I read the Sequences, and realized I was fighting a rearguard action against the truth.https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/wCqfCLs8z5Qw4GbKS/the-importance-of-saying-oops …
