And this is where the C# language is not expressive enough. Things like this are all over the place even in the BCL.

Usually in BCL they do 16 at most. To be on the safe side I went double that. :D

Been there. Really want variable arg generics - if you make any common library that, for instance pulls down a typed n-tuple from a dB query, it sucks that you have to code each one. Although... T4 for the win!

Although I agree it would be nice, it's also so niche that majority of C# developers would never need it. Also in my case, it's easy to generate the code. But maybe code generators, ;) hello
@jaredpar, would make maybe even more generic (pun intended) solution.

At first I thought you were stuck on C++03, then I realized this is C# and now I'm sad they don't have variadic generics. (I assume?)

They don't, yet. At least not in C#, I am no expert on CLS/CTS.
