    Maybe this is evidence of success. Many advise pitching your top choice firms after the pitch is solid. FRC is an excellent seed firm, so entrepreneurs wait to approach. They are seeing better cos later in the process and hence a shorter time due to the round dynamics.

    This weekend I tried to teach my son how to play connect four. After winning a few games in a row (I won, not him), he just started yanking the slider after a few moves and saying “daddy I block you” and clapping his hands when the checkers fell out the bottom. I died laughing.

    This is very true. There are two distinct seed markets right now with radically different round sizes and valuations.

    Some trends in VC right now - it's an interesting time of bifurcation and money: 1) At the early stages (call it pre-A or the whole "seed range"), I'm seeing lots of bifurcation. On one hand, in the Silicon Valley, for some founders, it's never been an easier time to raise.
