i was quite young and generally bad at games. just figured it was one of those things, i had a lot of fun trying to beat the first level of things over and over and didnt think twice about it

i recently learned that outpost is famous for being released as unfinished and impossibly buggy. a ton of stuff in the manual just doesnt exist in game, but was promised to early reviewers who gave it 90+%, ruining pc gamers rep

anyway, great memories. can still picture the opening where earth fires a nuke at an incoming meteoroid, splitting it in two halves that still hit earth, leaving my colony ship humanitys last hope
