but ya like one of them dropped out of school and became very depressed and only years later was able to release themselves from what they felt was a severe obligation. and i know they had other stuff going on but i still wish id reached out at the early signs

theres also a bit of an 'if everything you back gets delivered, youre not backing wouldnt-exist-otherwise-enough things' going on so maybe i could worry less but idk how it shakes out in my case

so far video games, music, and writing from ppl i already know/like. really only a handful of projects. i somewhat more often see things i would have backed after the fact but its hard to discover anything interesting using the site and im not very plugged in otherwise
