Big news for chroma.js:
The entire codebase has now been ported from CoffeeScript to ES6.
That means you can now import/require parts of chromajs in your projects without needing to load the entire library! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo -

Sometimes I'm asked about color palettes for
#dataviz. I use:
d3-scale-chromatic https://github.com/d3/d3-scale-chromatic … for quick jobs
chromajs https://vis4.net/chromajs/ to make my own, keeping this guide in mind: https://blog.datawrapper.de/colors

Here's a quick demo script that loads just two color spaces but still uses the chroma api. The resulting rollup build is just 8.9k unminified (= 9% of full chromajs).https://gist.github.com/gka/d78b5ae1b2a79a35c6499f2ef4f970e4 …

A quick writeup on Chroma.js, the most delightful color library I've ever seen. It's not an exhaustive tutorial for
@code_punkt just enough to get you started. I'm still new to Chroma too :)
