    Ahh now strategically, I think this makes more sense— it’s hard to make the case that GAO is partisan, but focusing on its determinations against Obama may be effective (even though I think this sort of what-about-ism is bullshit). Stay tuned for more, I’m betting.

    GAO leadership doesn’t like to make waves, but it seems that this was a sufficiently clear case that they weighed in. I’m interested to see if GOP goes after GAO the way they did after CBO during the attempted ACA repeal, given how much GOP members trust the agency.
